Hotels For Longer Stays
Traveling isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be. Sure, it can give you a chance to see new places and rack up air miles but it also means long airport queues, hotel stays that aren’t quite home and disruption to your carefully honed daily routine. This is especially true if you are away for five nights or more.
To help alleviate some of these problems, there are hotels that are specifically designed for longer stays and offer a range of facilities to make you feel at home while you’re away. These include kitchens, free Wi-Fi and parking, laundry rooms and fitness centers. You can even book activities and tours from your hotel.
Other types of accommodation include guest houses and bed and breakfasts, which are similar to hotels in that they provide private rooms for overnight stays. However, guest houses tend to be converted from individual homes and B&Bs are often smaller than hotels.
Another type of accommodation is a motel, which provides on-site parking and typically offers fewer amenities than hotels. These are usually located along highways and may have themed decor and a limited number of rooms. If you are looking for a more unique stay, consider staying at a boutique hotel, which specializes in design-driven qualities and is often small. It is also important to read reviews of the hotel you are thinking of booking before committing. This will give you an idea of the experience other guests have had and may help you decide whether or not it is right for you.
